Lytdash helps job seekers manage applications, CVs, cover letters, and job search analytics. This policy explains the basic data we collect and how we use it.
What data we collect
- Email address for authentication and account access.
- Job application data such as company, role, status, location, job URL, notes, CV links, and cover letter links.
- CV files and cover letter content that you upload or create in the product.
How we use data
- To provide the Lytdash service, including your dashboard, Kanban pipeline, document management, and analytics.
- To improve the platform, fix issues, and understand which product areas need refinement.
Browser Extension / Save to Lytdash
When the extension is active
The Save to Lytdash Chrome extension reads the current tab only when you actively open the extension popup.
What data is collected
When you trigger an import, the extension can collect: job title, company name, location, employment type, remote type, job description, job URL, import date, and detected skills.
What data is NOT collected
The extension does NOT collect: browsing history, pages outside the job flow, passwords, cookies, banking data, private messages, or any data without your explicit action.
Extension token
- The token links the extension to your Lytdash account. It is stored locally in your browser and can be revoked or renewed at any time in Settings > Browser Extension.
- The token does not expose your Lytdash password. It is a separate, user-bound authentication key.
Purpose of data collection
The extension collects job data only to save applications in your Lytdash account, enable CV-to-job match analysis, and help you organize your job search.
Your rights
- You can request access to the personal data connected to your account.
- You can update account details and product data inside Lytdash.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data.
Security
- Authentication is required to access private product areas.
- Data is isolated per user using Supabase Row Level Security policies.
- Sensitive operations are scoped to the authenticated user.
Storage
Application data and documents are stored securely through Supabase. CV storage is designed to be private and tied to your authenticated account.
